Mark Warner: DNC Parrot

by Kerry Dougherty

One thing you can say about Sen. Mark Warner: The man knows how to parrot DNC talking points.

Virginia’s beta senator was busy yesterday. No, not trying to get his fellow Democrats in the House to sign on to a clean continuing resolution that would fund disaster relief and the military for the next two weeks.

Nope. Like all dutiful Democrats, Warner was a keyboard warrior, X-ing away. They‘re uniformly indignant that an unelected genius and patriot was able to persuade normal people that the 1547-page stopgap measure that Congress was about to pass was full of pork, simply by telling the folks what was in the bill.

It was packed with the exact kind of waste and abuse of tax dollars that Donald J. Trump was elected to stop.

Pay hikes, free NFL stadiums, repair of the bridge collapse in Baltimore by taxpayers instead of the vessel’s insurance carrier, funding for gain-of-function research, expansion of the emergency pandemic powers of government in case another “pandemic” arrives.

There’s more. Lots more.

Elon Musk is so wealthy because of government subsidies for EVs. He knows nothing about the government which badly needs reforms that are beyond his state of knowledge.
Democrats have the high ground which isn't saying much in this stupid debate. We wouldn't be in this perils of pauline situation if the House, controlled by republicans, followed regular order. That is their job and they have failed.

As usual, Kerry does not let facts stand in her way. The bill that was agreed to by House and Senate negotiators that Musk killed (and Trump followed along) did not provide for a new NFL stadium. It transferred federal land around the current stadium to the D.C. government. It will be up to the D.C. City Council to figure out to build and pay for a new stadium. The funding provision for building a new Francis Scott Key bridge contained a provision that the federal government would recoup any insurance settlement. The federal funding now will allow the construction to get going quicker as the insurance case wends its way through the courts. And what is wrong with gain-of-function research?

Now we know who the real president-to-be is!

I am wondering how all those Trump voters in Southwest Virginia are feeling about Trump and Republicans killing the disaster aid for the damage wrought by Hurricane Helene? Furthermore, I wonder how Trump voters in Virginia feel about Trump advocating the elimination of the debt ceiling. On this issue, as a matter of fact, I sort of agree with Trump. The debt ceiling has proven to be ineffectual. However, it has been a matter of faith for Virginia's Republican Congressional delegation.

Wait! Is ANYONE surprised that once the GOP started exercising their "mandate" that stuff like this was gonna happen?

    Shocking!

Even more shocking, they have a majority and they're whining about the Dems!

AND they want to raise the debt limit? WTH! More tax cuts that
    don't pay for themselves?

Should we expect more of this?

    Mark Warner is a hack.
Tim Kaine is a phony, empty suit, fake Catholic hack. (I dislike Little Timmie Kaine, the fake Catholic more than Warner in case you can't tell. Warner doesn't fake his religion, he keeps to just being a Dem hack. He at least had the sense to quit lying about RUSSIARUSSIARUSSIA fairly early, but kept quiet while Schiff continued to lie. Like I said – HACK)

I have a novel idea for the worthless creatures who are well on the way to accumulationg $40 trillion in debt.

No budget, no pay. And no retroactive reinstatement of pay. Do your #$@%&&$^#%@(*&^#*$ job!

Can I also ask…for a friend…why do people pay millions of dollars for a job that pays $174,000? And why do our brave "leaders" have to pass their oh-so-deserved increase in an omnibus, while opting themselves out of the oh-so-wonderful Obamacare?

Can I say they suck? Is that censorable here? They are worthless poseur frauds. Hypocrites. You could pick 535 people from the Northern Neck (excluding Rob Wittman, who I also think is worthless) and do better than what we have.

Parrots as punks. On the streets of the Bronx in my day, a punk was considered the equivalent of todayโ€™s wussy. Candidates for Punks of the Year are Elon Musk and Speaker Johnson.
