   One of my first bosses was a young Naval officer on Admiral Halsey's staff at Pearl Harbor. One of the most moving events in my life was being amongst a number of American and Japanese people standing in silence on the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial. We seem to meld into one that day. That was a very good feeling.
