  1. The view from Fredericksburg is that neither Wilder nor the folks who actually were working on the effort were really forthcoming on status as time went by… and then the money that paid for the ED and staff ran out and things got worse.

    Not as well known perhaps is that the group got a substantial start forward by the donation of land on a hill overlooking I-95 – a prime spot because anything built there would as visible as say – the Marine Corp Museum….is…

    the “gift” was contingent on the museum actually being built and now (I think) is back in the hands of the original owners (the folks who built Celebrate Va)…
