    Progressive indoctrination rather than education, and the absence of diverse views among faculty and leadership is a complete betrayal of UVA's mission.

    This is the first thing listed in the BOV Manual (think Bylaws) as a duty of a Visitor –
    SECTION 2.4 POWERS AND DUTIES — The powers and duties conferred upon the Board are to be exercised for the purpose of carrying into effect the Mission Statement contained in Chapter 1. The major powers and duties are –
    1. the preservation of the ideals and traditions of the University and particularly encouragement of the maintenance of the Honor System by the student body;

    The Honor System is functionally dead. Would defending the greatness of Jefferson, defending his ideal for UVA to "follow truth", be considered within the "ideals and traditions" of UVA?

    Tell me which organization better represents that duty of the BOV – the Ryan Admin or TJC?

    So, other than politics, why has the Ryan Admin and all of the respectable UVA controlled institutions (like the Alumni Association) treated TJC as a Pariah? (That was rhetorical. You know why!)

    Here's another idea: the taxpayers and tuition-payers and citizens of Virginia could reject wokeist faculty. One way to do that is to starve the institutions of money. Something tells me Virginia needs more nurses and teachers, as opposed to woke academics.

    The time for being charitable to/reasonable with those people ended on Election Day. People across the country voted for a different approach.
