    Yes, fear sells in the well-funded news networks. But the UN (IPCC) and international government agencies (IEA) should
    be expected to be reliable sources of information on climate change. Power and influence are also powerful motivators.

    Nancy, that is pretty much exactly what NOAA said had been measured in VA, 1 degree C in over a century. Another century and people might even notice it without being bombarded with hysteria. No crisis.

    I'm sure somebody has a federal grant for research to prove that our burning of oil means the supernova will come in 3.5 billion years instead…..tipping point!!

    And the price of lumber and other construction materials, and the auto repair cost for monster trucks and battery EVs explain the premiums (along with just old fashioned inflation and greed.) Just did a road trip to the western part of the state and the drivers on the interstates are still post-pandemic insane.
