That much sea level rise would be cause for concern, and as far as I know, it is not being taken seriously because it appears to be some cherry picking of data by left leaning press. Same folks who told us Biden was at top of his game. Meanwhile yes we should be adapting to the changes.

The numbers on the map appear to be real… going all the way from SW Texas up and around to the Chesapeake Bay. Real data, inches not centimeters.

"In December, Charleston, S.C., saw its fourth-highest water level since measurements began in 1899. It was the first time on record that seas had been that high without a hurricane.

The average sea level at Charleston has risen by 7 inches since 2010, four times the rate of the previous 30 years.

Jacksonville, Fla., where seas rose 6 inches in the past 14 years, recently studied its vulnerability. It found that more than a quarter of major roads have the potential to become inaccessible to emergency response vehicles amid flooding, and the number of residents who face flood risks could more than triple in coming decades.

Galveston, Tex., has experienced an extraordinary rate of sea level rise โ€” 8 inches in 14 years. Experts say it has been exacerbated by fast-sinking land. "

I'm sure you also believe Al Gore invented the internet. Just why would Rep. Donna Edwards, a democrat panelist, at Larry Sabato's recent 50th Celebration describe her fellow democrats as "fear minded, glass half full bedwetters?" Prone to believing hoaxes and conspiracy theories, maybe? Russia!Russia!Russia!

Dunno how organized it was, but there certainly were some rowdy passengers who turned a demonstration into a riot. Some of whom undoubtedly were paid government agents.

The rioters are rightfully charged with things like trespass and disorderly conduct, although most of them looked like tourists from Iowa gawking and walking within the cordoned off aisles once inside.

Thankfully the Supreme Court has tossed the conspiracy to obstruct a government function overreach. So much for the insurrection hysteria.

The ones who were charged with assaulting officers with their canes seems like something of an overreach too. Pardon me officer, would you mind propping me up so I don't fall down while I beat you with my cane?

Donna Edwards characterized her fellow democrats as “half glass full, fear minded, bedwetters” just like Biden regime WH spokesperson KJP said just days before the recent debate that all the videos of Biden’s obvious dementia were fake, you would likewise claim the video evidence of Edwards’ statement as fake.
So here’s the deal instead of me why don’t you do your own search for Larry Sabato’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Go to the panel discussion titled “The Road Ahead”, scroll to the presentation by the moderator as to the study on how Republicans view the road ahead in sharp contrast to Democrats. Rep. Edwards is the very first to comment and voila the foregoing as I quoted. It sure takes a democrat to know a democrat. And she nailed it.

That's true, so I guess Trump was right, they're all black jobs, right up to the top. The question is how many of them illegals welcomed into the country by Biden are going to take from citizens of all colors?

How many of those jobs should go to the murderers, rapists, child molesters, other criminals, gang members and crazies that Biden has welcomed into the country through open borders? That was the context of your quote and question.

          1. Eric the half a troll Avatar
            Eric the half a troll

None because a.) it was all made up, b.) Biden didnโ€™t welcome those sort of immigrants into our country, and c.) immigrants (both documented and undocumented) are more law abiding than good ole born and bred โ€˜Mericans. You really shouldnโ€™t jump on Trumpโ€™s fascism-lite propaganda train like that.

            And you know what Trump thinks a โ€œblack jobโ€ isโ€ฆ he didnโ€™t mean taking President Harrisโ€™ jobโ€ฆ

          2. Lefty665 Avatar
            Lefty665

Biden has welcomed around 10 million illegals into our country. That is more than the entire population of Virginia, and more than the population of 2/3 of our states. As a group they may well be more law abiding than citizens, but the problem is with individuals.

With that many illegals the incidence of evil actors can be very low and still cause mayhem that would not happen if illegals were kept out. If the incidence is as infinitesimal as .0001 that is 1,000 more murders, rapes and child molestations than if the illegals were kept out. How many additional murders, rapes and child molestations do you think are desirable?

Insult to injury is the benefits, food, lodging and health care that we are providing. Illegals taking jobs from citizen workers and at low wages that depress wages for all workers are the cherries on top.

Examples of identified bad actors include the ISIS affiliated guys who entered recently and the hundreds on the terrorist watch lists. The scary part is that those are just the ones we know about. Gotaways, those who have a reason to avoid detection, like criminal histories or as sleeper cells, are uncounted. They are unknown unknowns as Rumsfeld used to say.

You really shouldn't gas light us like you have been. Trolls have standards too you know.

I know it is an inconvenient truth for your ilk but immigrants (both documented and not) make America safer. That is an inescapable fact.

โ€œBiden has welcomed around 10 million illegals into our country.โ€

Absolutely false. I have refuted such numbers you quote multiple times here. Biden deports more undocumented immigrants annually at this point than Trump ever did during his presidency. But thank you for showing your hand. Anti-immigrant Trumpist propaganda has shown your true colors.

          4. Lefty665 Avatar
            Lefty665

No, illegal immigrants do not make America safer.
Each crime one commits is a crime that would not have been committed had they not been let in.

A portion of every population is criminal, some more than others. Since you raised the topic, black people commit a disproportionate number of crimes. They are the reason domestic crime rates are higher than immigrant. By your logic we could make America much safer by deporting many of them. That's an even worse idea than opening the gates to illegals. It does raise the question, do you favor making America less safe or much less safe, or both?

Sigh, the numbers are real. Denial is not just a river in Mexico anymore. Senile demented propaganda will not prevail. Remember, your squeeze bragged "We beat Medicare", "We created 15,000 jobs" and getting to the really important stuff "I am a 6 handicap golfer".

โ€œNo, illegal immigrants do not make America safer.โ€

It is simple math. If you are going to deny basic statistical reality, we really donโ€™t have much more to discussโ€ฆ

โ€œBy your logic we could make America much safer by deporting many of them.โ€

Only in your mind is that logic. Not so ironically, your guy Trump has actually threatened to deport US citizens. But letโ€™s see what old Trump supposedly wants to do to address undocumented immigrants in the US. He says he will create a special police and military force to round up immigrants and put them in concentration camps prior to deportation (with no due process) and will also round up anybody protecting them. If you canโ€™t see the fascism in this rhetoric there is no hope for you or your ilk.

          6. Lefty665 Avatar
            Lefty665

            Blah, blah, blah.

and no matter how often you say it, Trump ain't my guy.

The issue is your guy, and he has senile dementia. You can't deflect that. If you do not want Trump for another 4 years you have to replace Biden/Giggles with real candidates.

Despite the campaign spin Biden does not, as he put it, "Know how to tell the truth". He may have told fewer lies than Trump, but that is not the same as telling the truth.

One example of Biden's lies is his claim that he is the โ€œonly president of the 20th centuryโ€ who had no American troops die on his watch.

That's got two things profoundly wrong:

First: American troops died in Afghanistan and Jordan on his watch. Those are 2 different countries where our troops have died on Joe's watch.
Second: Joe is president in the 21 century, not the 20th century. The 20th century ended more than 2 decades ago.

That is a measure of failure of "orientation to time and place" that we use to diagnose dementia or mental illness.
Biden does not even know what millennia he is in.

That is consistent with Biden's previous statements that he was still a senator, not president. His question to Robert Hur, "was I Vice President then?" that prompted Hur not to recommend prosecution for Biden's Espionage Act felonies because Joe was senile falls in the same category. Orientation to time and place are qualities we prefer in a President.

There were many more places Biden said things that are objectively not true. There were a lot of them in an hour and a half. We can go through them one by one if you want, but it is clear Biden is only marginally more truthful than Trump. It is also clear Biden is demented.

As for the blather that Biden got better as the debate went on, nonsense. His closing statement was as full of halting disconnected statements and meandering as the rest of the evening. That dog won't hunt either.

Who 'ya going to believe, Dem/Biden campaign gas lighting or your own lying eyes and ears? Early post debate polling is showing that the percentage of Americans who think Biden is too old to be president has increased from about 2/3 to approaching 3/4. People are believing their own eyes and ears.

Trump is not "my guy" as you put it. I have never voted for him. Biden however is your guy, and Biden clearly has senile dementia. For the good of your party, the state, the country and the world replace Biden/Giggles with real candidates or another 4 years of Trump will be your fault and those like you who deny reality.

C'mon troll surely you can do better, or were your glory days in the prior millennium like your idol's?

I'd rather see him retire to Delaware where he can lounge on the beach until its time for the nursing home, but they gotta do what they gotta do to win the election. And the sympathy vote should not be underestimated.

The moon landing was real. If NASA could have faked the moon landing, they would have accomplished something else.
    Orโ€ฆ
After determining that it was impossible with their available technology, NASA hired Kubrick to fake the Moon landing to keep Congressional funding flowing. When he premiered it, they were astonished at the realism. โ€œHow did you make it so real?โ€

Tough to tell motive. Is it โ€œwokeโ€, or just a loss of active knowledge?

I must admit that certain efforts at gender neutrality โ€” or at least equivalent terminologyโ€” strikes me as excessive, and sadly, removing some color from the language. For the past few weeks, an ad for a crime documentary has been playing across some cable channels. It concerns a man, married six times, with four of his past marriages ending with a dead wife. The documentary series is dubbed โ€œThe Black Widowerโ€.

No! No! No! A woman who kills multiple of her husbands is labeled a Black Widow because her marital habit mimics that of the spider. A โ€œBlack Widowerโ€ is a nonsensical extension of the imagery. Such a man is called a โ€œBluebeardโ€.

    Okay. I feel better.
