   Always funny… right up to the prognosis.

   I’m happy as a pig in pooh! The other day was my birthday and the spousal unit gave me the greatest gift — a roll of Necco Wafers. Sure, they’re just compressed confectioner’s sugar. Okay, they’re only pale-colored and equally pale-flavored (it’s grey, must be licorice), but where the Hell did she find them? It’s not like the 7-11 stocks ‘em. My only thought is “What’s this, an unopened roll of candy in grandma’s roll top desk? Let’s sell ‘em on EBay!”

      According to Google, Dollar Tree sells Necco Wafers and the one in Manassas, VA has them in stock.

         Oooh, sneaky woman. We went to a Dollar store in Florida to buy some “special ice cream” (Eddy’s caramel, peanut butter, yech, yech, that he claims only they carry) for my brother-in-law following his surgery. She went through the checkout alone.
