Good short article. It’s great to see Patrick Wilson making the quoted comment. The only way the Dominion lock-up of Virginia ends is when politicians have to choose between re-election and Dominion’s money.

Interesting and not sure what to make of it to be honest. I’m sure the GOP is enjoying it.

Mr. Wilson merely states fact, as in the sun rises in the east….But yes, that was not a utility puff piece. My suggested renaming of the paper was a bit facetious. As to what is behind the leadership fight, the simple answer is probably the correct one – lack of electoral success last year.

  4. The Dominion of Dominion is the Old Dominion.

I mean, it’s no secret Wall Street views Virginia ratepayers as chumps paying high profits to Dominion. We don’t complain because either we are D stockholders (not me) or are satisfied because, currently, we still get reasonable elec bills. But its quite obvious GA views our utility bills as a hidden way to increase taxes, so maybe I should keep my natural gas heating if I revamp HVAC.
