No CRT to See Here, Move Along Now

From the Critical-Race-Theory-is-a-conservative-bogeyman department:

Celebrate #UnityWeek and join panel discussions where you can engage in healthy and positive conversations about unity. Featured for Unity Week is the “Stamped from the Beginning Community Read Project,” a Virginia Beach Public Library (VBPL) read program series featuring “Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America” by Ibram X. Kendi and its youth and teen adaptations.

VBPL will provide a series of programs that examine the history and current reality of racism and injustice in Hampton Roads and Virginia Beach, including book discussions, local history and genealogy workshops and discussions about systemic racism and its local impacts. Details about this and more Unity Week events can be found at and…/city…/Pages/Unity-Week-2021.aspx.

One response to “No CRT to See Here, Move Along Now”

  1. This “series of programs” sponsored by the Virginia Beach Public Library is sure to go a long way towards fostering greater unity in Virginia Beach and in society as a whole. How can it possibly fail to do so with such a diverse range of thoughts, ideas and opinions being put forth?

I am positively overjoyed to see Virginia’s taxpayer dollars spent in such a wise manner…
